Concorde Crash Conspiracy - It Could Have Been Prevented
The young man's device is said to be able to spot even a single nut on the runway, which could be picked up by a tire or sucked into a jet engine. A young man, only twelve years old has come up with a little gadget, which will prevent this from ever happening again. The young man wants is counting on becoming a mechanical engineer if he ever grows up and I think he will make a damn good one. This is an awesome idea and I would hope the US Military would put them on the catapults so when it returns it video tapes the deck. This shows why it is important to get ideas from everywhere and how contests spur on innovation.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Two
It is still a long road ahead but slowly the journey progresses like it has for countless young entrepreneurs before him. Lance also got into trouble for flying under a bridge although his friend an FAA Examiner gave him a warning, If you ever try anything like that again, I'll have you thrown in jail, now get the hell out of here!. During this time Lance also became involved in motorcycle street racing, the speed did not bother him much, so he did quite well. Lance was looking to take all his knowledge and bring it to the market on a big scale starting in California and then the Sun Belt States and eventually into Europe. By that time Lance had been operating in many other industries such as Agriculture Cleaning, Concrete Cleaning, Fleet Washing, Auto Detailing, Car Washing and of course Aviation.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part IV
That young man who crashed into that building is our fault, yours and mine, yes his too. Not to convince them to teach them all they have learned and let those young people come to their own conclusions and they will lead us into the future. It is okay to help our young people, those who put forth real effort to achieve the carrot once in a while. The Eagles program with the EAA took 400,000 young people for aircraft rides last year. Not letting young people fly is like not letting Tiger Woods on a golf course, it's just stupid, yet that was not that long ago was it.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
There is a program for those young flying kids. There was nothing wrong with a young man wishing to fly. While other kids are poking pencils at each other in classrooms, ditching school, and cheating on tests, this young man was studying his homework during his classes to give him extra time to fly, his true passion. This is something that the young man who flew into the B of A building was clearly missing. At the airport he washed aircraft and he traded for pilots lessons.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part II
This young man is not a reflection on our FARs-Federal Aviation Regulations, his actions and death are a reflection of what one of the messages of Ayn Rand was trying to say. The counselor at this young man's school did not understand what was a matter with this kid. A young man who is introduced to flying has a much better chance of understanding what he wants to be when he grows up. The CAP was the mentoring program that was needed in the case of this young pilot. I still think that this program teaches more than any guidance counselor at any school.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part III
The act of crashing an airplane into a building is not excusable, but it is a sign that something is terribly wrong here, and not just in the mind of a young man who upset at the world for total disregard of the individual. We do not need more laws, which stifle young men's ambitions. This young many was not like everyone else, he knew it, and we failed to recognize his value to our society. Who are we to take the dreams of one young person away both from a social peer standpoint and a legal governmental licensing standpoint and then try to justify what we are doing. But I do point out here and forever that we are simultaneously rewarding those who act out and are not following the program.

De Ice Boots Preventative Care
I can remember as a young man cleaning aircraft in trade for flight time often using floor wax on the de-ice boots. I remember an article in AOPA Magazine also touting the PBS product. If your de-ice boots look too far gone already try some floor wax and then PBS prep and then the sealant. Being that de-ice boots are a safety item many AI Mechanics will not sign off the annual if the boots look checked or old. Save you de-ice boots as they may save your life.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part One
Not only was he young, but he was small for his age. Back then Lance thought he would try aircraft sales, however he was young and naive and nobody would give me a chance. As part of this business he started the first Aircraft Multi-Listing Service, which was online. Although the Internet was not really being used yet and TRS 80's were just hitting the market. He used dumb terminals and watts lines to send aircraft brokers updated listings.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Three
If you look at Walt Disney who started in a shed behind the studio or Apple's jobs in the garage or even Bill Gates and his car counting machine you can see how things grow and build and entrepreneurs find and exploit niches. Lance often wondered who was worse the government terrorist regulator lawyers or the actual Osama Bin Laden and company. Then as we started get going the FTC hurt many of our franchisees by attacking Car Wash Guys and then the other terrorists of 9-11 just about put the death blow in General Aviation, but aviation people are tough as they come and today the market sector is rebounding. Winslow has always been passionate about flying and aviation. His Father was a decorated naval Aviator flying in the Puerto Rico Squadron F-8s during Cuban Missile Crisis, 250 combat missions in an A-4, later CO of a Naval Squadron (A-7 Corsair II), later Captain in the Navy, later and Airline Pilot (737, 727, DC-10, 747, 777, 757), then after retirement, currently fly's a Gulfstream Corporate Aircraft.
