Concorde Crash Conspiracy - It Could Have Been Prevented
The Concorde however takes off at 180 knots or at least that day it tried. Had the debris, which had fallen off been known it could have been picked up prior to the Concorde's take off roll. In studying the Concorde crash the investigators determined it was caused by debris on the runway, which had fallen off a Continental Airlines Aircraft, which went down the same runway prior to the Concorde. It can also be sent solo to inspect the runway from afar, such as a room in the control tower or ground control workstation. It is a small real-time video camera, which runs along the runway on a track and videos the aircraft as it lands or takes off.

Airbus A-380 is Pretty Big
We shall see what happens, the gamble by Airbus may pay off, or this could be one of the biggest disasters in aviation history since the Comet or the Concorde a few years back. Aircraft taking off behind it will need to wait 5 minutes instead of 3-minute separation due to amount of air it will move from the wing tip vortices, enough to flip a little business get right over in flight. You know the Airbus A-380 is so huge it takes 2 hours to load and unload and that is if you are rushing the people on and off like cattle. Sure there was some pilot error involved, always is, but you see the problem. The wingspan is so large it sticks out past the width of the runway and when it rotates for take off the wing tip vortices will dig trenches in the ground.
