Whos Paying for the Private Jet?
Unlike Hammer, stars like Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone and John Travolta get their studios to pay for their 60 to 90 thousand dollar private jets. Offering an escape from paparazzi, peace and relaxation private jets have become a favorite toy of the rich and the famous. Travolta even convinced his studio to give him a personal private jet for his own use 24/7. There's also been rumors that one famous couple held a fit when their studio would not pay for a private jet to fly their luggage from L. If he needed more room, he'd get another private jet.

Leading Private Jet Charter Operators
A third option is to approach one of the private jet aircraft brokers who will arrange the trip for you. All in all, private flying is where it's at. No, you don't get a wing only, rather -- much like a timeshare -- you get to use a private jet operated by one of the providers. Matt Keegan writes for business aviation and manages two very busy aviation related communities. In each case you get the security of having two highly trained FAA licensed pilots and you can opt for a corporate flight attendant to provide cabin services and safety assistance.

India Air Traffic Issues to Come
India is also well located for the international traveler as a hub city to the Middle East, Europe and Asia as it sits along most direct routes and perfect for the World's traveling business crowds. As aircraft become larger there are even more issues as a 747 or the new Airbus A380 unloading puts 1000's of people in the terminal all at once and connecting flights wait for the bottle neck. Think about how big this really is for a country growing this fast. Some industry analysts believe the number of new jets ordered of 490 is less than a third of what will be needed. This of course is great news for Boeing and Airbus.

Entering Business Aviation, Part V: Tips on Finding Work
Many of the newer folks find it helps them gain a better understanding of private flying, while some veterans will tell you to save your money for the big conferences. This website was created by me to be a resource center for private flight attendants, those who aspire to become one, and their supporters. If you are an NBAA member you get a copy of their directory which lists many companies that fly these very same jets. Helpful articles, relevant links, catering information, résumé posting, and message boards are some of the more important features of the community. The NBAA's annual conference is a very important venue for networking as well as are their one-day regional conferences.

Private Jet Ownership Indeed
Private jet ownership is really taking off these days. There is much interest in the private transportation sector and jet aircraft business. Where would you like to fly today? Think about it. Fractional Jet ownership has never been easy. Fractional Jet ownership has never been easier.

Private Jets: 4 Leaders in Fractional Flying
The four featured operators are leaders in the industry and can provide for you more detailed information. The concept has grown from selling shares in a few jets to selling shares in sixteen different models. Fractional flying presents to you, the customer, options that were previously available only to those who owned a private jet. Today, Flexjet customers can purchase shares in various Learjets [now owned by Bombardier] and Canadair [another Bombardier make] aircraft. During the time you are actually flying -- and also for a predetermined amount of time before takeoff and after touching down -- you will be assessed hourly charges to cover catering, maintenance, fuel, and landing fees.

Entering Business Aviation, Part I: Types of Aircraft
Long a builder of regional jets, Embraer aircraft should start showing up increasingly as they are the low cost price leader in their category. Compared with a Westwind, Lear, or Cessna, the larger jets have an aisle to walk up and down upon and the headroom usually is adequate to allow easy passage of anyone under 6' tall. The jets that people fly in corporate aviation are usually a lot smaller than those found with the airlines. Bombardier has several aircraft under the Challenger and Canadair moniker. Lastly, Embraer has recently entered the business jet fray with their Legacy aircraft.

A Look at Fractional Jet Ownership
For others, however, the idea of a private jet has been outside the realm of possibility. An exciting concept in private aviation, however, is allowing private jet travel to make more sense for those who have seriously considered it as a possibility. If you've been considering buying or chartering private aircraft, fractional ownership just may be for you. If you are lucky enough to afford these multi-million dollar jets, you will enjoy the highest degree of luxury. That's not to say that private jet ownership is for everyone, however.

Fuselage Mounted Laser Vortex Enhancer Directed to Airfoils
I further propose that this system would synchronize with the amount of air needed to maintain airflow needed in the intakes for air, wing lift and the thrust vectoring jets for stability. When not in use for evasive maneuvering the pole would retract into the nose of the aircraft. This would blast the air and/or create vortex's, which would enhance lift which would allow for mini-tornado sucking of air over the wing in critical high angle of attack situations. Recently it was announced that they would put this new airborne laser system onto fighter jets. We can use redirected or reflected laser cannon beams to increase stability in transitional flight situations to prevent departure of the aircraft from flight, by changing the air around the airfoils and control surfaces, Think about it.

Mirrors to Redirect Mini Laser Weapons on Fighters for Vortex Airflows
All this would synchronize with the amount of air needed to maintain airflow needed in the intakes for air and the thrust vectoring jets for stability. Recently a new airborne laser system was announced to be put onto fighter jets, once this technology becomes more advanced we will no longer need missiles for air-to-air combat. Inside the cone protected from the relative wind would be the mirrors for redirection of the lasers to points near the boundary layer of air above the wing. When not in use for evasive maneuvering the pole would retract into the nose of the aircraft. On the front of the tip of the pole would be a fold out system, which would expand out like a cone similar to the catch nets used for aerial refueling.

FAA Intervention in Privatized Space Flight is Ridiculous
Unfortunately what followed was typical regulatory BS that follows every successful entrepreneurial and innovative endeavor in this nation. Burt Rutan and his team of designers, engineers and test pilots at Scaled Composites did something no private group had ever done. And for their efforts and vision they won a 10-million dollar prize in doing so. Which is fine, it is nice to have the support of your government for a change. With the help of some Billionaire entrepreneurial investors they are poised to build an entire industry of Private Space Flight.

General Aviation Manufacturing is in the Tank; Hang On It is Going to Get Worse
Even so we are seeing the small business jet opening market as a long term positive in the private jet market, but a short-term problem for the small single engine turbo prop and piston markets of Beechcraft, Cessna and others. Red tape and bureaucracy are unnecessarily inhibiting business development in the United Kingdom while costing it a fortune, according to the managing director of BMW (GB), Jim O'Donnell. With all the red tape and the lawyers, fewer aircraft were sold, fewer workers needed and costs for parts went up due to economies of scale. This has left the door open for foreign light aircraft manufacturers around the world. Many aircraft had increased in price 100% to allow for the incessant lawsuits.

Airline Fuel Costs Mount
Think of the military aviation, jets, helicopters, UAVs, AWACs, bombers and even flying gas stations in the sky for aerial re-fueling. It has about enough supply for the entire country for 60-90 days depending on our conservation levels in a crisis situation. And they are always testing different fuels to increase performance in different situations. The airline industry is under extreme pressure now. Generally Airlines too are a 24-hour business.

A380 Bathrooms
Both Airbus and Boeing have seen record orders for their latest model jets. Ready to get out of the driver seat yet and into a futuristic amenity rich modern jet airliner? The major commercial jet manufacturers and airlines are betting that you will. The Boeing 787 will have humidified air, so no more dry eyes during flights and because of its stronger composite cabin, it will leave the cabin pressure at 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 or 10,000 feet, meaning it is safer on the bio-system with more oxygen. Will this get more air travelers out of their SUVs and into airliners for those 350 plus mile journeys? Some industry analysts think it just might be the ticket the market sector needs. Boeing is also planning as a standard feature on its 787 airliners to have a window in the laboratories.
