General Aviation Manufacturing is in the Tank; Hang On It is Going to Get Worse
Even so we are seeing the small business jet opening market as a long term positive in the private jet market, but a short-term problem for the small single engine turbo prop and piston markets of Beechcraft, Cessna and others. One new market the mini-Business Jet, seems to be a potential as many companies are building these under 1 million dollar jets. We will also see problems in this market as insurance carriers increase prices as less experienced pilots and single pilot mini-business jets experience a higher percentage of will occur. In fact such accidents are already causing friction in the corporate jet insurance costs, showing that certain companies are separating out the categories to keep the mini-business jets in their own realm and pricing points. American Airlines cancelled 54 orders for new aircraft from Boeing recently, not good, the increases in operational fuel costs, Continental postponed their large jet order.

Airline Fuel Costs Mount
Think of the military aviation, jets, helicopters, UAVs, AWACs, bombers and even flying gas stations in the sky for aerial re-fueling. The airline industry is under extreme pressure now. If they keep raising their fees to passengers then the passenger per plane ratios drop off, meaning flight are unprofitable. Generally Airlines too are a 24-hour business. It is like running several airlines non-stop 24/7.

Common Cockpit Concepts and Convenient Configurations
Taken to extreme this would mean your automobile or a commercial truck would be similar to a war fighting tank, jet airliner, private boat, fighter jet, helicopter and school bus. If we borrow a friend's car we are constantly looking for where stuff is, where is the hood release, fuel hatch release and how the hell do I turn off this G-Dang windshield wiper? As machines get more complicated and humans become more brain dead due to bad use of natural selection, we will need counter these issues with better designed standardization such is being done in the CCI. We spend too much time in training of soldiers, drivers, pilots, operators with increasingly more complicated equipment. Now then I am not criticizing the lack of cranial capacity in the modern day human, rather simply suggesting a reality check is needed. Often we see drivers in cars sitting too low and can barely see over the steering wheel, when we rent an aircraft everything is in the wrong place.

Laser Beam Guidance for Oshkosh Air Show
According to NORAD officials, the ground-based laser system uses safety-tested low-level beams of alternating green and red laser lights to alert pilots that they are flying without approval in designated airspace. This system would be used when the aircraft in question cannot be contacted on VHF voice radio by ATC. According to the FAA, a preliminary test of the system showed that the laser illumination is eye safe. However, the FAA contends, and AOPA agrees, that a number of important steps must be taken before the system is fielded. A special advisory must be developed to alert pilots of the new system, operational procedures must be developed, and a broad education and outreach effort must be made to the pilot community.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Two
By that time Lance had been operating in many other industries such as Agriculture Cleaning, Concrete Cleaning, Fleet Washing, Auto Detailing, Car Washing and of course Aviation. Lance also got into trouble for flying under a bridge although his friend an FAA Examiner gave him a warning, If you ever try anything like that again, I'll have you thrown in jail, now get the hell out of here!. During this time Lance also became involved in motorcycle street racing, the speed did not bother him much, so he did quite well. Lance was looking to take all his knowledge and bring it to the market on a big scale starting in California and then the Sun Belt States and eventually into Europe. Without any success in finding venture capital, Lance continued his business, got into politics and at nights, sometimes all night writing up plans to fulfill his mission.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part II
Also private enterprise gave us more innovations, people like Burt Rutan came onto the scene with the Vari Eze, Long Eze, Vari Viggen. How could they understand what it means to fly? They are ground lovers. The counselor at this young man's school did not understand what was a matter with this kid. People who fly think more three demisional, like those who build train sets and run them around their display. American Indians, those in the mountains had much more understanding and intellect than those in the plains.

Airline Security; Stewardesses The Last Line Of Defense!
Dan currently acts as the International Director of the World Federation of Bodyguards and has a private business as a Security & Protection Consultant. This fact has repeatedly been proven by security inspections, where security agents, have boarded aircrafts with weapons and explosives etc. There is also the fact, that the Airlines often have little control over the actual Airport security and close to no-control at foreign Airports. In many foreign airports the airlines simply have to rely on the local security and the occasional inspections, by official institutions such as the FAA etc. This is a fact that is evident by the many cases of persons carrying weapons onboard aircrafts anyway.

Entering Business Aviation, Part II: Pay Rates for Flight Attendants
New York and Los Angeles are the two most trafficked areas for private flying. Contract rates vary widely and depend, again, on your location, responsibilities, experience, etc. I have heard of flight attendants flying for $0 just to get the experience and hours [how could a company conscientiously allow that to happen? Okay, stupid question!] I've also heard of a flight attendant making $600 per day flying internationally. If the company insists on paying 35K, guess what? You won't make anything near 60K, you'll be crossed off their list and the person settling for 35K will get the job. Generally, never expect anyone to reveal their salary to you.

Entering Business Aviation, Part IV: Crafting a Resume
As a private flight attendant, your résumé should fall somewhere in between. If you want to work internationally, you must respect local laws and customs. I have heard objections from some about this particular practice. College and universities are key institutions where many get their first try at crafting a résumÃ. I like what the University at Buffalo School of Management has to say about writing a résumÃ.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Three
Arthur was one of the original Tidy Car Franchisees, his dad once owned a small airline in Los Angeles, which flew jets and later had one of the top performing Mail Boxes Etc. They have washed jets in Little Rock Arkansas, Scottsdale AZ Airpark, Colorado Springs CO, Bozeman MT, Columbus OH, Van Nuys CA, Palm Springs CA and many other airports across the country. Today the Aircraft Wash Guys team has washed for Millionaire Aviation, Executive Jet, etc. Recently Burt Rutan made such a comment to Congress during his testimony on the birth of the private space industry. It was noticed that FBOs, Flying Schools and especially the fractional jet market was really taking off.

Boeing is Really Flying Now
From their commercial aircraft division to their Space Program Boeing is on a roll. The Boeing Company has the expertise to help bring back monies to our country for all those goods we buy from places like India and China.

Point to Point VS Spoke and Hub? Air Taxi
Pre-sort before it goes to the hub in Memphis means less cost and more profitable flights. Boeing it is said took a big gamble in predicting the future of air travel.

A380 Bathrooms
The Boeing 787 will have humidified air, so no more dry eyes during flights and because of its stronger composite cabin, it will leave the cabin pressure at 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 or 10,000 feet, meaning it is safer on the bio-system with more oxygen. (40,000 feet above sea level.

Concorde Crash Conspiracy - It Could Have Been Prevented
Had this been available it could have inspected the Space Shuttle prior to its return and prevented the accident by way of video preflight. Had the debris, which had fallen off been known it could have been picked up prior to the Concorde's take off roll.

Flying With Your Dog
Do not argue with the airline staff, because this is for your dog's safety. Airlines are required to comply with these laws, and in many cases your dog will not be able to join you on an international flight at all.

Mirrors to Redirect Mini Laser Weapons on Fighters for Vortex Airflows
We need an off shoot of this technology which is being tested by General Atomics and Lockheed to prove my concept will work. When not in use for evasive maneuvering the pole would retract into the nose of the aircraft.

AWACS Automated Flight Following System for Nuke Bunker Buster Accuracy
The Aerial Fire Fighting Industry uses a system called AFF Automated Flight Following System. Similar to a Tomahawk missile attack, but with pin point accuracy into the cavity of each consecutive strike.

International Corporate Catering Guide
Many of the catering recommendations were received by knowledgeable corporate flight attendants directly. For example, Beijing Air Catering Co LTD serves Capital International Airport.

Inflatable Slots for STOL
I propose inflatable slots to increase the short take off and landing performance of aircraft. For standard landings if desired the system would be filled with ram air rather than a cartridge.

FAA Intervention in Privatized Space Flight is Ridiculous
With the help of some Billionaire entrepreneurial investors they are poised to build an entire industry of Private Space Flight. During the big ceremony and media event following the third successful launch into space and safe return, the FAA was there to make a few comments.
