Whos Paying for the Private Jet?
Offering an escape from paparazzi, peace and relaxation private jets have become a favorite toy of the rich and the famous. If he needed more room, he'd get another private jet. Unlike Hammer, stars like Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone and John Travolta get their studios to pay for their 60 to 90 thousand dollar private jets. Travolta even convinced his studio to give him a personal private jet for his own use 24/7. There's also been rumors that one famous couple held a fit when their studio would not pay for a private jet to fly their luggage from L.

Leading Private Jet Charter Operators
All in all, private flying is where it's at. No, you don't get a wing only, rather -- much like a timeshare -- you get to use a private jet operated by one of the providers. Matt Keegan writes for business aviation and manages two very busy aviation related communities. A third option is to approach one of the private jet aircraft brokers who will arrange the trip for you. The following list features some of the leading private jet charter operators in the U.

Private Jet Ownership Indeed
Private jet ownership is really taking off these days. There is much interest in the private transportation sector and jet aircraft business. Where would you like to fly today? Think about it. Fractional Jet ownership has never been easy. Fractional Jet ownership has never been easier.

FAA Intervention in Privatized Space Flight is Ridiculous
With the help of some Billionaire entrepreneurial investors they are poised to build an entire industry of Private Space Flight. Burt Rutan and his team of designers, engineers and test pilots at Scaled Composites did something no private group had ever done. They proved that private space flight is feasible and safe. The FAA needs to get their heads out of their rears and their fingers out of ours and I am not the only one who knows this. Luckily the fractional jet market has taken off, but only after the FAA ditched some of their onerous regulations.

Private Jets: 4 Leaders in Fractional Flying
Matt Keegan writes on aviation issues and manages two important business aviation sites. Launched in 2000 as a joint partnership between TAG Aviation, an aircraft management and operations company, and the Cessna Aircraft Company. In most cases these shares allow you to own as much as 1/4 to as little as 1/32 of a 40 million dollar private jet. Fractional flying is where you, the customer, can own a share in a private jet. Fractional flying presents to you, the customer, options that were previously available only to those who owned a private jet.

India Air Traffic Issues to Come
Additionally India's private aircraft markets are increasing too along with a brand new general aviation manufacturing sector. Meanwhile aviation experts warn of air-traffic snarls and eminent safety issues. Commercial Aviation traffic has increased ten fold in te last five years and is expected to do so again. Think about how big this really is for a country growing this fast. If you are traveling to India expect delays, traffic, inconvenience as the airports work thru their growing pains.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
Read Airport Business, Flying, AOPA, Sport Aviation or Private Pilot, you will see. When the luxury tax law was enacted 30 years ago the aviation market tanked and never really recovered. This caused more aircraft to be sold and Piper, Cessna, Mooney, Beechcraft, Rockwell, Aeronica, Robinson, Grumman all did well in aviation. That was wonderful for general aviation, aircraft sales prices and the entire general aviation industry. Yet the IRS came down on private pilots and aircraft owners for using it as a tax write off for fuel for their private planes.

Entering Business Aviation, Part V: Tips on Finding Work
There are many sites on the internet listing aviation related jobs. This website was created by me to be a resource center for private flight attendants, those who aspire to become one, and their supporters. I draw upon industry leaders as well as the private flight attendants themselves to communicate what is going on in the industry, particularly from the cabin crewmember's point of view. Skyjobs, Plane Jobs, AviaNation, Climb to 350, AEPS, and the Aviation Employment Board. This last community, the Aviation Employment Board is run by me and is a companion to the Corporate Flight Attendant Community.

A Look at Fractional Jet Ownership
An exciting concept in private aviation, however, is allowing private jet travel to make more sense for those who have seriously considered it as a possibility. The Gulfstream 550, for example, is the latest and greatest in Gulfstream's line of long-haul private aircraft. That's not to say that private jet ownership is for everyone, however. The fractionals are also an attractive deal for mid-sized companies who need the convenience of a private aircraft without the premium price. For others, however, the idea of a private jet has been outside the realm of possibility.

Entering Business Aviation, Part III: Training Options
Please be aware that the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) do not require that a flight attendant be assigned to an aircraft with fewer than 20 seats onboard. Time for some training! So, you are not sure what type of training you will need or how it compares to the commercial side of aviation. Matt runs the widely popular Corporate Flight Attendant Community website at http. Alteon Training, LLC is a Boeing training company that started cabin attendant training in 2003 while Beyond and Above Corporate Flight Attendant Training got started in 2002. When talking with training operators, be prepared to ask a lot of questions, read their website, obtain their literature, and shop wisely.

Inflatable Slots for STOL
Short Take Off and Landing Aircraft are extremely valuable in commercial, private, government and military aviation. For standard landings if desired the system would be filled with ram air rather than a cartridge. Each system would contain ten rechargeable cartridges. Cartridges only used for extreme take off performance safety factors or emergency landings. Additionally a secondary cartridge could be deployed on touch down, which would act as an airbrake causing the aircraft to come to an almost immediate stop.

Laser Beam Guidance for Oshkosh Air Show
Because general aviation aircraft often fly at relatively low altitudes, today's strongest lasers may pose a threat to the safety of the flight in all flight regimes. The Military would also like to keep general aviation pilots away, so they do not have to shoot them down. The Federal Aviation Administration is devising a method of alerting pilots who enter a restricted airspace to leave immediately. This system would be used when the aircraft in question cannot be contacted on VHF voice radio by ATC. According to NORAD officials, the ground-based laser system uses safety-tested low-level beams of alternating green and red laser lights to alert pilots that they are flying without approval in designated airspace.

General Aviation Manufacturing is in the Tank; Hang On It is Going to Get Worse
Counties like those in Eastern Europe or China, Mexico and India will take the general aviation industry from the US, but India appears to be the emerging as the most likely winner and they know it. Change is a constant, Outsourcing Jobs, Capital flows, Emerging Markets are a given and this includes the Aviation Manufacturing Sector as we watch the current Migration pick up speed. We cannot do that here in the states any longer the costs have become too great and the system of commerce we have created and the blob of bureaucracy is more than the aviation market sector can stand. Just as Airbus was able to take over 50% of the market share from Boeing after the MacDonald Douglas merger, India will take it's chunk of the UAV and private plane market and eventually divide further the airliner manufacturing sector. Even so we are seeing the small business jet opening market as a long term positive in the private jet market, but a short-term problem for the small single engine turbo prop and piston markets of Beechcraft, Cessna and others.

Is your air traffic control person real?
Think about this and the virtual reality simulators used in aviation. You can also stay up on this information by subscribing the newsletter. It will not be long now before many aircraft are flying themselves and the air traffic control personal in the control towers do not even have windows to look outside, as the whole thing will be in a video game like augmented reality which will be recorded for later use in virtual reality training of new controllers in air traffic control simulators. Did you know that air traffic professionals are now training in virtual reality simulators hooked up to pilots in aircraft simulators and the whole thing does not even exist? Talk about working in a dream world. Generally these controllers have many things going on at once which you cannot possibly know and what looks like a pipe dream or wishful thinking on their part is part of a larger plan.

Jet Lag - You Can Suffer From It...Or You Can Do What This International Airline Captain Does
Things You Can Do During Your Flight To Reduce Jet Lag1. If you're stuck in a hotel room suffering from jet lag symptoms, you're missing out.

Inflatable Slots for STOL
I propose inflatable slots to increase the short take off and landing performance of aircraft. For standard landings if desired the system would be filled with ram air rather than a cartridge.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part II
The CAP was the mentoring program that was needed in the case of this young pilot. We toured the factory at Santa Maria CA where they made Aerostar 601s.

Downed Pilots Hibernating From the Enemy
Here is how I propose it work for the downed pilots in hiding waiting it out; 1. ) Administer the gas.

Overcoming Jet Lag
You may have heard that sleeping pills and other sleep aids are also effective tools for managing jet lag. Jet lag can be one of the worst, and certainly one of the most frustrating, aspects of long distance travel.

Aerodynamic Inflatable Wing Gates for STOL
I propose inflatable wing gates to pop up on modern day aircraft to allow for slower stall speeds on landing. Before takeoff these inflatable gates will blown up into place with small canisters.

China is Starting to Build Military Fighter Trainers
China is entering the jet fighter trainer business and set to start building a completely new generation of trainers called the JL-19 Mountain Eagle. China needs this aircraft to train it's pilots to fly the Su-27s and Su-30 Russian Fighters that they have ordered.

Sex in a Cessna, Part I
If you have never had sex in a Cessna or other small aircraft then you probably might wish to read this article. Yes, in fact there is a right way and a wrong way to have sex in a Cessna.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part IV
This gives them a since of status they may not have been able to achieve, it gives them respect they want and helps them help the kids. They will live longer than we will and it appears they are smarter too.

Preventing Rapid Decompression In Commercial Airliners
I propose a similar notion and this is one of the safety protocols of former MIR and International Space Station now. It then sucks itself in place while the pressurization system works to bring the stability back.
