Helicopters Outfitted With Airbags
Normally if the engine quits in a helicopter it can auto-rotate and the rotor blades spin around like a pin wheel or like the Da Vinci model helicopter. Obviously it would be good for all helicopters to be equipped with this, however when you think about the missions of our Middle Eastern Troops traveling by helicopter and the number of lives lost, this could be the perfect safety item. Such a system should be installed in all Presidential Helicopters as well like Marine One. We are just losing way too many troops to helicopter accidents, which have nothing to do with actual combat and we all know we must protect the top brass and our nations leadership too. The problem comes when you are too low to set up a stable and proper glide, in this case a helicopter is quite vulnerable to total loss.

Helicopters - The Multi Utility Machines
The helicopter has been proven by police departments around the world to be very cost effective means of increasing the efficiency of a department's existing resources, when properly utilized. Other utility functions, which can be performed by a helicopter, are fire fighting, Electronic news gathering, power line survey, offshore oil and gas support, aerial application and air tourism. Helicopters play a leading role in fire fighting support. The first step in this regard would be to look beyond that the helicopter is an expensive luxury. The vertical lift technology of helicopters has far more utilitarian aspects to its credit than only being an effective mode of transport.

Material Memory and NASA High Tech Plastics for Rotor Blades
Material memory manufacturing with new high-tech NASA plastics will significantly increase performance characteristics and flight agility in future aerospace designs and we should definitely be thinking here and make use of these new materials to serve our needs. By using this technique we could increase the take off weight and allow the UAV VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) Helicopter to move quickly into position and then hover for much longer periods of time without using up all its fuel in route, thus allowing it an increased range for use in Natural Disasters, wartime, search and rescue, surveillance or commercial applications. These materials are said to be ten times the strength of steel and three times lighter than aluminum. This would allow the rotor blades made out of this new plastic material to change shape. Since they are made of polymer plastic blends it will be possible to add in some material memory manufacturing in the process.

Common Cockpit Concepts and Convenient Configurations
Taken to extreme this would mean your automobile or a commercial truck would be similar to a war fighting tank, jet airliner, private boat, fighter jet, helicopter and school bus. If we borrow a friend's car we are constantly looking for where stuff is, where is the hood release, fuel hatch release and how the hell do I turn off this G-Dang windshield wiper? As machines get more complicated and humans become more brain dead due to bad use of natural selection, we will need counter these issues with better designed standardization such is being done in the CCI. We spend too much time in training of soldiers, drivers, pilots, operators with increasingly more complicated equipment. Now then I am not criticizing the lack of cranial capacity in the modern day human, rather simply suggesting a reality check is needed. Often we see drivers in cars sitting too low and can barely see over the steering wheel, when we rent an aircraft everything is in the wrong place.

Mexico to Manufacture Aircraft
This agreement does not affect the United States in anyway, but the Mi Helicopter series does include the Mi-24 pictured here. In addition to working on the An-140 Mexico also discussed with President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko the possibility of building and or repairing the Mi Helicopters for the Ukraine. Of course this will mean that they must acquire some expertise and some trading partners to sell to once they build these aircraft. Mexico is looking to team up with the Ukraine to make this happen. Not so sure this is a good piece of news for the Department of Homeland Security? That is rather close to our already leaking borders.

A380 Bathrooms
Both Airbus and Boeing have seen record orders for their latest model jets. Ready to get out of the driver seat yet and into a futuristic amenity rich modern jet airliner? The major commercial jet manufacturers and airlines are betting that you will. The Boeing 787 will have humidified air, so no more dry eyes during flights and because of its stronger composite cabin, it will leave the cabin pressure at 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 or 10,000 feet, meaning it is safer on the bio-system with more oxygen. Will this get more air travelers out of their SUVs and into airliners for those 350 plus mile journeys? Some industry analysts think it just might be the ticket the market sector needs. Boeing is also planning as a standard feature on its 787 airliners to have a window in the laboratories.

Automated Satellite Following System for UAV Swarms
It is time to take these technologies into the battlespace and try them out and use what we learn to help us monitor forces of nature, grid out the surface of other planets and provide protection and security to the free world. We can now have many aerial unmanned vehicles fly in swarms keying of one in five, ten or even a hundred aircraft. All other UAVs will be controlled thru that data and by satellite in grid formations every half to three miles. I propose keeping this task of swarming UAVs simple. We cannot quite match evolution and bird flock formations but we are on our way.

AWACS Automated Flight Following System for Nuke Bunker Buster Accuracy
We need to take these systems already in use for several decades and merge them together into the net-centric model. Similar to a Tomahawk missile attack, but with pin point accuracy into the cavity of each consecutive strike. This technology, which is currently being used to guide fire fighting aircraft to the drop zone can be used without any problem to guide in a swarm of UAVs used as a multiple warhead strike. In the event of nuclear detonation this would have a piling effect on our enemy and easily take out an underground enemy. Since we already have these technologies, we should be practicing with them to hit the exact same spot ten times in a row within a short period of a 3-5 minutes.

Moving Troops and Evacuation Strategies
One concept of interest is the Boeing Pelican model using the aircushion or ground effect. Well, this idea might be better used to move massive amounts of people out of a region in an airlift or air rescue mission. If you had to evacuate 1 million people from let's say a coming Cat 5 Hurricane, you have everyone go to an airport and then lay them down, put them to sleep and ship them out to a safe haven and wake them up as you have resources for ground transportation once there. After all it takes some 2 hours to load up a 747 and another 2-hours to unload it and many aircraft all arriving at that same time or near the same time anywhere would over load the airports and over stress terminals and ground transportation. Perhaps we can learn better evacuation techniques from this Hurricane Katrina dilemma? Think on this.

Entering Business Aviation, Part I: Types of Aircraft
Their newer aircraft will all have the Bombardier name, but in the meantime, the popular Challenger 604 and Global Express along with their 5000 model are some of the cabin class aircraft being flown today. Long a builder of regional jets, Embraer aircraft should start showing up increasingly as they are the low cost price leader in their category. Matt manages the Corporate Flight Attendant Community at http. Lastly, Embraer has recently entered the business jet fray with their Legacy aircraft. Bombardier has several aircraft under the Challenger and Canadair moniker.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part IV
There is also a group out of Houston of Helicopter Pilots, mostly law enforcement who take kids for aircraft rides. Why don't they stick up for what is right here and say something? If it were not for our victories in the air in previous wars we would not be able to maintain our countries freedom. On a mission that most did not come back from. Do you honestly think they would vote for more laws in aviation? Certainly not, yet they are the ones who know about such, who are able to change policy. How many Congressmen had to wash airplanes to learn to fly at a young age? One maybe two.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Two
By that time Lance had been operating in many other industries such as Agriculture Cleaning, Concrete Cleaning, Fleet Washing, Auto Detailing, Car Washing and of course Aviation. Lance also got into trouble for flying under a bridge although his friend an FAA Examiner gave him a warning, If you ever try anything like that again, I'll have you thrown in jail, now get the hell out of here!. During this time Lance also became involved in motorcycle street racing, the speed did not bother him much, so he did quite well. Lance was looking to take all his knowledge and bring it to the market on a big scale starting in California and then the Sun Belt States and eventually into Europe. Without any success in finding venture capital, Lance continued his business, got into politics and at nights, sometimes all night writing up plans to fulfill his mission.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part One
Business scholars and students throughout recent periods have studied the fascinating business model of franchising. As part of this business he started the first Aircraft Multi-Listing Service, which was online. Although the Internet was not really being used yet and TRS 80's were just hitting the market. He used dumb terminals and watts lines to send aircraft brokers updated listings. There was a time when if Lance could not cage the gyros and in a plane so he could do a spin or a barrel roll or in aerobatic aircraft do a loop or tail slide he just wouldn't fly.
