Aerodynamic Inflatable Wing Gates for STOL
Before takeoff these inflatable gates will blown up into place with small canisters. I propose inflatable wing gates to pop up on modern day aircraft to allow for slower stall speeds on landing. The hinges will be on the side closest to the end of the wing not the fuselage as to not upset the already turbulent airflows at high angles of attack or near stall speeds. The gates will fold straight up and recessed into the wing with a panel, which pops outward. The gates will use the same air in the lines which are cross fed so that one gate cannot come up or stay up without the other.

Inflatable Slots for STOL
I propose inflatable slots to increase the short take off and landing performance of aircraft. Cartridges only used for extreme take off performance safety factors or emergency landings. For standard landings if desired the system would be filled with ram air rather than a cartridge. Each system would contain ten rechargeable cartridges. Additionally a secondary cartridge could be deployed on touch down, which would act as an airbrake causing the aircraft to come to an almost immediate stop.

5 Tips for Stress Free Long Haul Flights
He also has a home in South Australia and finds the flight back considerably more comfortable with an inflatable travel pillow. An Ezysleep inflatable travel pillow, for example is designed to deal with the issue of supporting your neck whilst upright but there are other things you can do. You're 40,000 feet away from everything, make the most of it. Most importantly, enjoy the flight! Enjoy that time away from the mobile phones and the boss and the traffic and relax. Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) is a constant worry for long haul travelers.

Inflatable Aircraft Wing Camber Modification
I propose an inflatable wing camber modification system for modern day fighter aircraft to save on fuel and increase range. For UAVs the performance would allow additional time loitering in the battlespace with increased range and slow flight speeds would allow for better imagery to identify targets before eliminating them from this time period. The performance changes would also vastly assist in close air support or carrier landing handling. Consider the ware and tear and maintenance costs, which would be saved? Consider the slow speed changes in flight characteristic and decreased safety risks in shorter take off and landing rolls. Consider the landing speeds of an F-104, consider the ability to decrease the weight of the landing gear and size of tires to increase payloads.

Increasing TAS in Modern Day Fighters with Expandable Wing Tips
Straight out, 26 degrees and 45 degrees, behind this fold out spar would be a webbing of strong inflatable polymer rubbery material made of partially MMM Manufactured material memory substances. As the aircraft approached the speed of sound it would be completely retracted. As the webbing retracts it would run thru a roller system allowing it to take up very little space, as the area it retracts into will also hold fuel tanks and space would be limited. As the folding spar comes back it would provide an end-cap covering the system as well as a small gate or strake on the protruding fuselage/wing tip. At 450 to 500 Knots the wing would fold back to 26-degree and then at 550 to 600 Knots fold back to 45-degrees.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I This is something that the young man who flew into the B of A building was clearly missing. People who had aircraft they bought leased them back to a flight school to afford the monthly payments.
Inflatable Aircraft Wing Camber Modification I propose an inflatable wing camber modification system for modern day fighter aircraft to save on fuel and increase range. The system would be recessed into two-inch deep areas on the wings.
Helicopters Outfitted With Airbags Such a system should be installed in all Presidential Helicopters as well like Marine One. If a crash comes over water it could be inflated giving everyone onboard those few extra crucial seconds to get out alive.
The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part Three Now back to our story of the History of the Aircraft Wash Guys Part III. Of course Aircraft Wash Guys has always been the favorite of Mr.
A380 Bathrooms The Boeing 787 will have humidified air, so no more dry eyes during flights and because of its stronger composite cabin, it will leave the cabin pressure at 6,000 feet instead of 8,000 or 10,000 feet, meaning it is safer on the bio-system with more oxygen. (40,000 feet above sea level.
FAA Intervention in Privatized Space Flight is Ridiculous With the help of some Billionaire entrepreneurial investors they are poised to build an entire industry of Private Space Flight. During the big ceremony and media event following the third successful launch into space and safe return, the FAA was there to make a few comments.
Making a Mechanical Manta with Material Memory Manufacturing Methods The wings on the down stoke will have material memory making them go back to a neutral position. I propose building a mechanical manta ray as a Underwater Unmanned Vehicle; UUV.
Jet Lag - 5 In-flight Tips As an alternative to sleep, or indeed in addition to sleeping, try listening to soft, soothing music in preference to watching the in-flight movies. Here are just five of the many things that you can do during your flight to reduce, or eliminate, the effects of jet lag.
