Airport Noise Reduction
In some cases the little airplanes turned into full-blown airliners. Often we over look the obvious things to problems in our society instead we blame municipalities, military and airplanes. Yet when you think about it transportation is almost as important in a civilization as the flow of communication. Think on this next time you find yourself complaining about the noise of an airport. Sound is a Sin Wave and creating another wave opposite to it you can cancel out the highs.

American Airlines; Crash: Nov. 12, 2001
The aircraft involved in that crash was an old Eastern Airlines plane, which was probably not too sturdy anyway for lack of maintenance back when that airline was falling apart. Remember Chicago O hare disaster with the DC-10, engines are not suppose to fall off airplanes and aircraft should not be born with defects, airlines should maintain aircraft, and pylons which attach powerful engines to wings. They should not have been that close to the KLM, as the pilot in command should have moved away from the problem and when problems did occur should have flown the plane first. Three pilots sitting in a cockpit who make way over the average standard of living and negated the reason they are so highly paid. Some industry analysts say that Airbus builders are working for the laziest Union in the World selling to mostly government subsidized airlines.

Even China is only about 2-days a way by airliner, by the time you wait at the airports, fly and deplane. Go up for an introductory flight, it costs under $100. Airbus A-380 is Pretty Big
Remember the crash in NY when the Airbus took off behind the loaded 747 Cargo Plane and lost its tail as it closed the distance gap. Think on it, the aviation community is as the world waits for an additional six month delay now. We shall see what happens, the gamble by Airbus may pay off, or this could be one of the biggest disasters in aviation history since the Comet or the Concorde a few years back. The massive aircraft also takes a lot of room to turn around, a lot of runway is needed for safety and can you imagine the congestion out front the terminal when that many folks deplane? Anyway, just because you build a huge aircraft does not mean it is the best choice. Sure there was some pilot error involved, always is, but you see the problem.

Airline Travel Lingo! Does The Language Need An Interpreter?
With this type of flight the plane travels from one city to another, however, the passengers must change aircrafts at some point between the origin city and the destination city. If you make a stop for example in Denver, you will change planes at that airport, but with the same American Airline carrier. This is when you as a passenger changes airplanes, but instead of boarding the same company plane you will be on a different airline. The aircraft even though is en route directly to your destination, it may be making some routine stops on the way, and all passengers must remain on the plane at that time. Simply put, they purchase tickets from an airline at a rate less than the tariff, with the intention of reselling the tickets to either you the public or travel agencies.

De Ice Boots Preventative Care
I remember an article in AOPA Magazine also touting the PBS product. Being that de-ice boots are a safety item many AI Mechanics will not sign off the annual if the boots look checked or old. If your de-ice boots look too far gone already try some floor wax and then PBS prep and then the sealant. Save you de-ice boots as they may save your life. I distinctly remember one day using floor wax and then having to climb onto the aircraft and sat on the well saturated de-ice boots I had just coated with lots of Floor Wax.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
It takes a lot of aircraft washes to pay for fuel and instructor and a plane for an hour these days. With a lease backed plane to an FBO an owner could also have the ITC-Investment Tax Credits on the purchase and then write off the payments. Yet the IRS came down on private pilots and aircraft owners for using it as a tax write off for fuel for their private planes. Others in his peer group and older people who understood his dreams to fly. This is something that the young man who flew into the B of A building was clearly missing.

Travel Tips:Tips for Safer flying
Other items such as sharp objects like knives and other seemingly benign objects have been targeted. The atmosphere in the cabin is pressurized to about the same as Denver altitude. Common sense should tell you that you shouldn't bring hazardous materials on the aircraft unless they were allowed by the airline and shipped in a proper container. Unauthorized materials that are not allowed are a list that seems to grow daily. If an attendant ask you to do something don't argue just comply.

The History of the Aircraft Wash Guys, Part One
It was hard enough to get people to let him wash their planes at age 12 let alone sell planes at age 15. There was a time when if Lance could not cage the gyros and in a plane so he could do a spin or a barrel roll or in aerobatic aircraft do a loop or tail slide he just wouldn't fly. One day Mira shows up in an Italian Bi-Plane and asks Lance if he wants to go for a ride. Sometimes he would insist that every buyer fly every single aircraft on the line for sale and many that Lance had brokered agreements, before they were allowed to make and offer, sign a conditional sales contract or buy an airplane.
