Airline Security; Stewardesses The Last Line Of Defense!
There is also the fact, that the Airlines often have little control over the actual Airport security and close to no-control at foreign Airports. In many foreign airports the airlines simply have to rely on the local security and the occasional inspections, by official institutions such as the FAA etc. There is also the real threat, of terrorist co-operators working within the Airline service industry, which has access to the Aircrafts and could place weapons or bombs onboard the Aircraft, to be used by the terrorists. Perhaps these incidents can be reduced, by enforcing higher penalties and prison terms on those who violate Airline regulations in any manner. More mundane, but daily occurrences in the International Airline Industry, is unruly passengers.

Aviation Lawyer: Whether Passenger, Pilot or Owner, You May Need an Aviation Lawyer
These factors have led airlines to cut any costs they can to maintain their fragile financial balance. Despite increased safety standards, accidents still happen due to the widespread use of air travel which speeds up the wear and damage to airplane parts and mechanisms, and the complex nature of overlying airspace. These accidents are unnecessary and if you or a family member has been a victim of airline negligence or outright, purposeful ignorance, you should contact an Aviation Lawyer who can help you. Thus, accidents still occur despite the increased security and safety laws and precautions. Since 2000, the aviation industry has been in financial difficulty due to changes in world economy, the entrance of low-cost carriers, SARS, war, and, of course, terrorism.

Essential Oil Skin Care Tips for Frequent Fliers
After you land, take a nice, long bath to soak up more moisture and soothe your nerves. For dry scalp (which causes embarrassing flakes) and lips in-flight, rub several drops of Lavender oil into your scalp and a single drop onto your lips to help eliminate dandruff and alleviate chapped lips. Add 10 drops of a good Dry Skin essential oil blend to 1 ounce of your favorite shea butter-based body lotion for maximum benefit as well. I like a blend of equal parts Roman Chamomile, Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang, Rose, and Sandalwood. Don't forget to dunk your head under as well! I like to add 15 drops of Lavender and 15 drops of Grapefruit to 2 ounces of Epsom salts to my post-flight baths - it has the added bonus of putting me straight to sleep and helping me get over jet lag.

New Airbus A-380 Beats Out 747
Airbus is putting countermeasures for anti-aircraft missiles as an option for those airlines, which order them. If and when an International Terrorist Cell gets one, it will become instantly the largest airline disaster in the history of the world, due to the shear number of passengers on board. Many airports cannot even take an airliner so large, as the distance to turn it around are significant and the wing tips are wider than that of the runway, meaning the wing tip vortices will dig up the grass on the sides of the runways making ditches on both sides. This of course is unlikely because most handheld missiles are heat seeking and therefore will generally go to where the heat is instead, thus taking out one of four engines. Luckily bringing down such a large aircraft will not be easy, nor will it be able to be blown out of the sky with a handheld anti-aircraft missile unless it is lucky enough to hit a fuel tank.

Learning to Fly
I learned to fly myself when I was 10-years old as my dad was an Airline Pilot and former Naval Aviator. Once you catch the flying bug you will want to go up again and again. You will have a whole different perspective on what true freedom is as you fly above the congested world we live in. For about $100 you can see for yourself why flying can make a huge difference in your life. Some people have a fear of flying at first although once they go up a few times they no longer have a fear, only pure excitement.

A Look at Fractional Jet Ownership
With a commercial carrier, I was unable to find a next-day flight, I was unable to find first class seating, and on one airline, I was informed that a return flight wouldn't be available until a week after the date I requested. With the Marquis Jet Card, required notice jumps up to 10 hours, which is still much better than anything the airlines can offer. If you've ever flown on Boeing's popular line of 737 airliners, you know how big the BBJ is. An exciting concept in private aviation, however, is allowing private jet travel to make more sense for those who have seriously considered it as a possibility. Fractional shares start at 1/16 of a share, which can be as low as $369,875 in a Hawker 400XP.

Airlines, Price Wars, and Branding
The result was record air travel and record losses. Surely this example cannot be used in modern context, because at the time each airline was flying both McDonald Douglas, Boeing and Lockheed Aircraft. Continental Airlines instituted a fuel savings program to Pilots who were given a percentage of Lbs saved in fuel as a bonus. The airline example does not take into consideration some of the strides made by some of the then competing airlines. If the MBA number crunchers would look at the real problems and design a superior system in the airlines at that time rather than always doing the obvious and previous chess moves then they might get an upper hand.

American Airlines; Crash: Nov. 12, 2001
There was a 747 that lost a tail a few years back and it took them 27 minutes to crash that one, there have sense been several airliners land safely after losing a vertical stabilizer. Remember Chicago O hare disaster with the DC-10, engines are not suppose to fall off airplanes and aircraft should not be born with defects, airlines should maintain aircraft, and pylons which attach powerful engines to wings. Some industry analysts say that Airbus builders are working for the laziest Union in the World selling to mostly government subsidized airlines. We need better standards on new airliners, which are made of composites because we now know more than we did previously about these new modern materials. The aircraft involved in that crash was an old Eastern Airlines plane, which was probably not too sturdy anyway for lack of maintenance back when that airline was falling apart.

A380 Bathrooms
Boeing is also planning as a standard feature on its 787 airliners to have a window in the laboratories. Both Airbus and Boeing have seen record orders for their latest model jets. Ready to get out of the driver seat yet and into a futuristic amenity rich modern jet airliner? The major commercial jet manufacturers and airlines are betting that you will. Will this get more air travelers out of their SUVs and into airliners for those 350 plus mile journeys? Some industry analysts think it just might be the ticket the market sector needs. But Airbus is not the only commercial aircraft company, which has their shit together.

Downed Pilots Hibernating From the Enemy
Realize this technology is not yet available but will be within the next few years, especially considering the NASA budget for long-term space travel and trips to Mars. The plastic bag keeps out the bugs and would be coated with Tabasco Sauce to keep vultures who smell the flesh from tying to dig up or eat the human pilot. There is a solution or there will be soon as hibernation techniques and technologies become better. They have limited if any food supply and lots of people looking for them. Now then if a downed pilot could find a really good hiding spot, like a bear finds a cave for his hibernation and then go to sleep for a week or two, then by that time everyone looking for him or her will have given up.

Overcoming Jet Lag
Establishing a regular and consistent sleep schedule before you even start to make travel plans is one important step towards limiting the effects of jet lag. Jet lag can also make it difficult for business travellers and tourists alike to maximize the opportunities afforded by their stay. Travelling across several time zones upsets your body's internal clock, which relies on a variety of environmental cues such as daylight and temperature. Jet lag can be one of the worst, and certainly one of the most frustrating, aspects of long distance travel. Details of our affiliate

Entering Business Aviation, Part II: Pay Rates for Flight Attendants
If you are located in Pocatello or Burlington the chances of you finding work in the first place are remote, unless a fractional operator hires you and allows you to airline to reposition for your flight. Contract rates vary widely and depend, again, on your location, responsibilities, experience, etc. I have heard of flight attendants flying for $0 just to get the experience and hours [how could a company conscientiously allow that to happen? Okay, stupid question!] I've also heard of a flight attendant making $600 per day flying internationally. If the company insists on paying 35K, guess what? You won't make anything near 60K, you'll be crossed off their list and the person settling for 35K will get the job. Generally, never expect anyone to reveal their salary to you.
