Whos Paying for the Private Jet?
Offering an escape from paparazzi, peace and relaxation private jets have become a favorite toy of the rich and the famous. If he needed more room, he'd get another private jet. Unlike Hammer, stars like Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, Sly Stallone and John Travolta get their studios to pay for their 60 to 90 thousand dollar private jets. Travolta even convinced his studio to give him a personal private jet for his own use 24/7. There's also been rumors that one famous couple held a fit when their studio would not pay for a private jet to fly their luggage from L.

FAA Intervention in Privatized Space Flight is Ridiculous
Burt Rutan and his team of designers, engineers and test pilots at Scaled Composites did something no private group had ever done. With the help of some Billionaire entrepreneurial investors they are poised to build an entire industry of Private Space Flight. Luckily the fractional jet market has taken off, but only after the FAA ditched some of their onerous regulations. They proved that private space flight is feasible and safe. The FAA needs to get their heads out of their rears and their fingers out of ours and I am not the only one who knows this.

Private Jets: 4 Leaders in Fractional Flying
Fractional flying presents to you, the customer, options that were previously available only to those who owned a private jet. Fractional flying is where you, the customer, can own a share in a private jet. In most cases these shares allow you to own as much as 1/4 to as little as 1/32 of a 40 million dollar private jet. Today, Flexjet customers can purchase shares in various Learjets [now owned by Bombardier] and Canadair [another Bombardier make] aircraft. The concept has grown from selling shares in a few jets to selling shares in sixteen different models.

A Look at Fractional Jet Ownership
An exciting concept in private aviation, however, is allowing private jet travel to make more sense for those who have seriously considered it as a possibility. For others, however, the idea of a private jet has been outside the realm of possibility. That's not to say that private jet ownership is for everyone, however. If you are lucky enough to afford these multi-million dollar jets, you will enjoy the highest degree of luxury. Fractional jet ownership offers the best of luxury, security, and functionality without the premium total ownership requires.

India Air Traffic Issues to Come
Additionally India's private aircraft markets are increasing too along with a brand new general aviation manufacturing sector. Some industry analysts believe the number of new jets ordered of 490 is less than a third of what will be needed. India is also well located for the international traveler as a hub city to the Middle East, Europe and Asia as it sits along most direct routes and perfect for the World's traveling business crowds. As India increases its economic growth the population is taking to the air in travel and more and more are flying. Thirty Billion in new airline aircraft have already been ordered from Boeing and Airbus and more are expected in the next two-years.

Entering Business Aviation, Part V: Tips on Finding Work
I draw upon industry leaders as well as the private flight attendants themselves to communicate what is going on in the industry, particularly from the cabin crewmember's point of view. Preferably, you would also attend events where a lot of pilots hang out, especially pilots of cabin class jets which include the Global Express, G-V and Falcon Jet 2000. Many of the newer folks find it helps them gain a better understanding of private flying, while some veterans will tell you to save your money for the big conferences. If you are an NBAA member you get a copy of their directory which lists many companies that fly these very same jets. After the recent crashes involving corporate jets you certainly do want to be knowledgeable about industry best practices involving ice.

Young Men Trying to Imitate the 9-11 Scenario, Part I
Read Airport Business, Flying, AOPA, Sport Aviation or Private Pilot, you will see. My brother flies a C-130 for the US Marines, my dad was a Navy jet jock and grandfathers flew in WWII. Yet the IRS came down on private pilots and aircraft owners for using it as a tax write off for fuel for their private planes. Many of these pilots used this extra fuels to take students or cadets in the CAP-Civil Air Patrol up for rides. They took the youth on field trip type weekend events and searches for crashed or lost aircraft and looked for the locations of ELT-Emergency Locator transmissions.

Aerodynamic Inflatable Wing Gates for STOL
Those aircraft that have good flight characteristics at low speeds are favored by pilots and the companies, military, NGO or private individuals who operate them. Before takeoff these inflatable gates will blown up into place with small canisters. Low speed flight characteristic are crucial to safety. The gates will use the same air in the lines which are cross fed so that one gate cannot come up or stay up without the other. The hinges will be on the side closest to the end of the wing not the fuselage as to not upset the already turbulent airflows at high angles of attack or near stall speeds.

Inflatable Slots for STOL
Short Take Off and Landing Aircraft are extremely valuable in commercial, private, government and military aviation. Additionally a secondary cartridge could be deployed on touch down, which would act as an airbrake causing the aircraft to come to an almost immediate stop. The cartridge would be inflated prior to take off roll. Each system would contain ten rechargeable cartridges. For standard landings if desired the system would be filled with ram air rather than a cartridge.

Is your air traffic control person real?
Think about this and the virtual reality simulators used in aviation. But besides that these VR Control towers right now are only simulators for training control tower operators, for instance you can have the busiest day at Laguardia, O'Hare, LAX or even the EAA show is Oshkosh just to give you a challenge. You can also stay up on this information by subscribing the newsletter. This would be good so that Control Tower operators would not discuss the sightings of UFOs, etc as the reports from pilots come in. Now a days the air traffic controlers train in the VR, Virtual Reality World.

Entering Business Aviation, Part III: Training Options
While each can be helpful consider how much of the program's schedule is geared toward core topics vs. Time for some training! So, you are not sure what type of training you will need or how it compares to the commercial side of aviation. Some programs include make-up consultations, food and wine pairing, résumé writing, and other topics. As mentioned previously, training is not a legal requirement therefore program curriculum can vary widely. Matt runs the widely popular Corporate Flight Attendant Community website at http.

General Aviation Manufacturing is in the Tank; Hang On It is Going to Get Worse
Even so we are seeing the small business jet opening market as a long term positive in the private jet market, but a short-term problem for the small single engine turbo prop and piston markets of Beechcraft, Cessna and others. One new market the mini-Business Jet, seems to be a potential as many companies are building these under 1 million dollar jets. We will also see problems in this market as insurance carriers increase prices as less experienced pilots and single pilot mini-business jets experience a higher percentage of will occur. In fact such accidents are already causing friction in the corporate jet insurance costs, showing that certain companies are separating out the categories to keep the mini-business jets in their own realm and pricing points. American Airlines cancelled 54 orders for new aircraft from Boeing recently, not good, the increases in operational fuel costs, Continental postponed their large jet order.
