– A buyer has come forward to take on the assets of failed Eclipse Aviation Corp. the city’s mayor said Friday. The new company is called Eclipse Aerospace. Mayor Martin Chavez indicated it includes former jet owners of the Albuquerque-based aircraft manufacturer that went out of business earlier this year.

Managers of the nation’s deepest and clearest lake want to see whether flights will significantly disrupt one of the rarities of national parks — silence. Park officials also want to make sure that flights do not bother northern spotted owls and peregrine falcons nesting in areas near the lake said park Superintendent Craig Ackerman.
