The city Department of Aviation reported no delays at ‘Hare or Midway airports Sunday morning in contrast to the delays and cancellations travelers have had to deal with at both airports the past week because of inclement weather. By the time the Christmas travel season has ended some 2. 8 million travelers will have passed through ‘Hare and Midway airports according to the Department of Aviation. The busiest travel day of the Christmas holiday week at Midway was Tuesday Dec. 23 when more than 54000 passengers were estimated to have been through the Southwest Side airport.

As a result the plane overshot the runway and exploded into flames costing two friends and two airplane staff their lives. Goldstein and rocker Travis Barker were the only survivors of the crash. The DJ is suing the estates of the two late pilots Sarah Lemmon and James Bland along with Clay Lacy Aviation Global Exec Aviation Inter Travel & Services Inc Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co and Learjet.

Southwest Airlines Co and lease them back to the American air carrier sources reported citing Robert Martin CE of BC Aviation as saying. According to Southwest Airlines the first five aircraft were sold at US$175 million and it expects the similar price for the remaining five aircrafts next quarter. And the lease-term will be 12 years.
