THISDAY, Nigeria
Wale Babalakin, on Friday won the Aviation Personality of the Year Award in the 2008 Nigeria Aviation International Expo Awards. MMA2 is the only Public-Private Partnership funded airport in Nigeria and the leading terminal nationwide and one of the best in Africa in terms of infrastructure, security, customer service and passengers’ overall safety and comfort. The award for the Aviation Sector Bank of the Year went to Zenith Bank for its varied financial support and services for the aviation sector. The ceremony was the climax of the second annual Nigeria International Air Transport Conference and Exhibition (NIGAV) held at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Training School in Lagos.
